CS2: How To Enable Net Graph

CS2 Net Graph: Counter Strike 2 is now available. Anyone who has played matchmaking and has an active rank has been granted access to the game.

I immediately noticed the missing net_graph option in Counter-Strike 2 when I launched a deathmatch. Surprisingly, Valve decided to remove this and add another command that does a similar thing but doesn’t provide data like net_graph used to.

I immediately noticed the missing net_graph option in Counter-Strike 2 when I launched a deathmatch. Surprisingly, Valve decided to remove this and add another command that does a similar thing but doesn’t provide data like net_graph used to.

Introducing cq_netgraph

So, this is the replacement for the good old net graph everyone loved. To enable this:

• Launch the Console by pressing the “~” key.

• Type “cq_netgraph 1” and press Enter.

• As shown in the above screenshot, a Green bar will start displaying on the top right of your screen.

If nothing happens when you press the “~” key, you haven’t enabled the console. Go to game settings and enable it.

That said, Valve has decided to remove the old version, and we only have a graph displaying a green bar.

Why is it a big deal?

A simple command that used to display all the network information and your FPS is now gone. I am sure they will add a similar command once the game ages, as the current substitute isn’t good enough.

As of now, both of these commands are adding a lot of clutter to the screen, the older command was very clean and easy to use. I expect Valve to push an update soon for this.
