Burger King Skin Code for Free in MW2: Modern Warfare 2 is the biggest launch of this year; as anticipated, the game has broken all records. According to reports, over 1 billion USD has been collected by Activision within ten days after the launch. This is a big feat in gaming, and I can say gaming is still well and alive.

Modern Warfare 2 has partnered with vendors worldwide; there’s a Burger King Skin to grab, Moutain Dew Skin, and Jack Links Ghillie Suit. You are required to purchase the desired product to get their skin or rewards.

The sad part is some people are exploiting this as the demand for the skin is very high. The Burger Town skin is a timed exclusive and will disappear once the promotion ends. According to Kotaku, the skin is sold on marketplaces like eBay for almost half the game cost ($35).

Worry no more; I got this skin for free; there’s a workaround that doesn’t require you to purchase anything from the Burger King site.

How To Get Burger King Skin for Free in MW2

Note: You will have to switch your App Store location to Mexico temporarily.

Step 1: Download the Burger King Mexico App from Store:

• App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/burger-king-mexico/id1457228152

• Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nosmk.burgerking

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the app, sign up and fill in all of your information. At first, the app will not ask you for your phone number; go back and enter that information. Scan this QR code if the app asks for it, you can also use this to download the app directly.

Note: You will not receive the reward if you don’t fill in your phone number.

Step 3: Wait. You should receive the Burger Town Skin and 60 Min of 2XP Code in your email. I got it after 24 hours; I have added the screenshot below.

Step 4: Claim your reward as I did; here’s a screenshot:

This trick worked for me when I tried it for the first time, but it didn’t work for my friend. He switched to a Mexico VPN while signing up with another number and email, and he got the code within 24 hours. It turns out it’s a hit-and-miss and might not work for everyone.

I still feel like trying to get the code for free is a better deal than paying over $30-40 to people trying to make a buck by exploiting demand.

Update: I also heard that some people got the code but cannot find the skin. The skin is under Conor; you have to hover over him and click customize. This is where you will find the Burger Town skin. Also, the 2XP will be given to you in the form of a token that you have to manually activate.

This trick might get patched in a few days, as you are supposed to get the code only if you purchase something from the application. But the great part is that people from the UK and other countries where the promotion is unavailable can get it for free.

The game still continues to Lag, Stutter, and MW2 Crashing for most of the player base. This can be attributed to the poor hardware that most gamers are using still. Modern Warfare 2 is a demanding title and requires good hardware to run. I am not blaming anyone, the developers also should have done a better job in optimizing the title.
