Featured Raid & Dungeon Rotation This Week in Destiny 2

Raid and Dungeon Rotation This Week: In Destiny 2, a raid is a six-player cooperative activity that is both challenging and rewarding. To get past obstacles and beat enemies, players must work together. It can take several hours to finish a raid, which is usually considered the hardest thing to do in the game.

On the other hand, A dungeon is a three-player cooperative activity similar to a raid, but it is not as challenging, but the rewards are great. However, dungeons can be completed in a shorter time, making them a good option for players who don’t have the time to commit to a raid. The Duality Dungeon released last week has an excellent loot pool.

With Season of the Haunted, Bungie has introduced a change where both the Raids & Dungeons will rotate and reward pinnacle gear. The developers also mentioned that players could farm these activities, which means you can run the activity multiple times for rewards.

This is a great way to keep all the end-game legacy content relevant in the current season. I am sure the developers work hard to bring content and have their reasons to vault things. This is a step in the right direction; after all, Destiny 2 is a looter shooter.

The rotation should be figured out once we know what pattern is followed.

How are these rotations helpful?

Raids like Garden of Salvation and The Last Wish are legacy raids. That means these raids are not supposed to drop pinnacle gear. With this change, players can farm these activities for pinnacle gear if the raid or Dungeon comes into rotation.

Some users will not like this, as Bungie decided to make legacy gear unusable with the Power Level Cap. Now with this change, you can farm the older weapons again as Pinnacle Gear. So basically, they ended up recycling the content.

We will publish the updated loot tables for each activity in our Destiny 2 guides section. For Season of the Haunted guides, head here.
